My 2001 Mazda Miata

My Mazda Miata is a brilliant black 2001 base model with the suspension package. I picked it up on December 8, 2000 with 24 miles on the odometer. I had always respected and liked the Mazda Miata since its inception, but I was never a very big fan of the original styling. When the 1999 model debuted, I fell in love immediately and knew then that a Miata was in my future. Well two years later I got one of my own. I really love this car. It is by far the best handling and the most fun car I have ever driven. This section is pretty much going to be the dumping ground for all the pictures that I take of my car, which is a lot.

I just want to say that your little car is a beauty. I too have a 2001 Mazda Miat, And I love it, mine is Silver w/ Peanutbutter color interior. I bought mine in 2005 and have no intenions of selling it yet and when I do I’ll get another Mazda Miata of a newer year.
But I do have a question, do you know if I’m going to need to change my timing chain between 75,000 and 100.000 miles. I used to have a Mitsubishi Eclpise and I burned out the engine because of the timing chain, and I don’t want the same to happen again.
So till I hear from you, Good luck with your Mazda!
    Sincerly Jo…

You should change the timing belt on any car after that many miles.

I have a 2001 Miata. The cup holder hinge broke. We bought a new cup holder, but I can’t figure out how to lift the center console so I can install it. Any help.
