Moe's Review
I enjoyed the Wolves of the Calla, it's not the best of the Dark Tower series, not even close, but it tells a good yarn. It is in a sense a retelling of the seven samurai, with the story taking place almost completely in the same location with Roland and his Ka-tet being recruited to help a town fend off the Wolves of Thunderclap.
It was nice to see Father Callahan from Salem's Lot show up in this book. I like that King plays with his characters like that. |
