Miata owners must not have been doing enough business with them to make it worth it. It&#8217;s to bad, I really liked their Miata accessories. <\/p>\n<p>I have never understood the fascination that so many Miata owners have with the Voodoo shift knobs so I was very happy when I found the <a
class=\"link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mgwltd.com\/\" target=\"_new\">MGW<\/a> shift knob.  They sell two styles of knobs.  I went with the gripper style in the chrome finish with the &#8220;M&#8221; script on top.  The craftsmanship of the piece is first rate and I love the way it feels in my hand.  George at <a
class=\"link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mgwltd.com\/\" target=\"_new\">MGW<\/a> is also a great man to do business with and I love recommending his accessories to others.<\/p>\n<p><a

loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/img\/cluster_300.jpg\" title=\"MGW Gripper Shift Knob\" class=\"alignleft\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>Installation is extremely easy&#8211;you just unscrew the stock knob and then screw the MGW knob on, just screw it down as far as you can while keeping the pattern on top straight, then tighten the set screw with the supplied allen wrench.<\/p>\n<p>I have had several emails asking me how the knob compares to the stock Miata knob in regard to height, so here is a <a
class=\"link\" href=\"\/img\/compare2.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[195]\">side by side comparison<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The bottom picture is just another pic that I took that I thought turned out great except that the chrome is too bright.
